BECOME A CLIENT
A long-term partnership starts with fit.
Who this is for
• Investors with a multi-year time horizon who are comfortable owning a concentrated portfolio of 10–15 businesses.
• People who want to understand what they own. Every quarter, you'll receive a letter explaining what we own, what we're learning, and how we're thinking.
• Investors who judge results over years, not quarters. A concentrated portfolio will look nothing like the index in any given year — that divergence is the point.
Who this isn't for
• Anyone who may need the money within a few years.
• Anyone who expects to beat the market every quarter, or wants a portfolio that tracks an index.
Wealth Management
Investment management at the center. Wealth management when it's useful.
Every Right Tail relationship begins with concentrated equity investment management. That remains the core of my work and the service every client receives. For clients who want it, I can also help connect the portfolio to the rest of their financial life.
Retirement planning
Think through spending needs, time horizons, and how the investment portfolio fits into a longer-term plan.
Tax-aware decisions
Consider the tax consequences of investment and planning choices, and coordinate with your tax adviser when needed.
Estate coordination
Help organize the investment side of an estate plan and work alongside your attorney or other advisers.
How it works
1. An introductory conversation.
Email jeremy@righttailcapital.com. We'll talk about whether the strategy fits what you're looking for. No pitch — if it's not a fit, we'll say so.
2. Review the documents.
You'll receive our Form ADV, the Investment Advisory Agreement, and select your fee option.
3. Open and fund your account.
Accounts are custoded at Charles Schwab, in your name. We handle the paperwork; you retain full ownership and visibility of your assets at all times. Right Tail never takes custody of client funds.
4. Ongoing.
Quarterly investor letters, an annual review, and direct access to Jeremy — the person managing your money is the person who answers your email.
